Mark Read - Deputy Head of School and Secondary Science Teacher
My name is Mark Read and as well as being the new Science and Design/Technology teacher at IBSA, I will be taking on the administrative role of the Deputy Head of the Secondary School. I have worked in education for over twelve years, initially as a researcher and lecturer of ecotourism studies at the university level in Thailand, and more recently as a science teacher at the secondary and tertiary level in the UK. Having also managed two successful tourism businesses, I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to work and teach at IBSA during these very exciting times. As a passionate classroom teacher, I believe in a holistic approach to education and genuinely look forward to the challenges that working in an international school will bring.
