Katie Rowland – Nursery Teacher
My name is Katie Rowland. I am from England and have worked with children for some 13 years with special needs, including Aspergers Syndrome. Some parents may know me already as I was Assistant to the Representative of the Board of Trustees for a year then the nursery teacher last year for the Busy Bees Class. I am passionate about the health, safety, welfare and happiness of children. I came to Egypt in 1997 to work for 3 months in an NGO with children in the desert and slum areas of Alexandria. In my free time I have a little club in my home for underprivileged children in my area. I am delighted to be joining IBSA again this year and teaching the children of Alexandria.
